Barolo DOCG Brunate Andrea Oberto

Barolo Brunate is a wine that comes from the famous Brunate vineyard of La Morra. This is a set of plots of the extension of 25 ha fully exposed to south. Andrea Oberto owns a small part of this famous Barol cru from whom it derives its Barolo Brunate. Nebbiolo in this cru has very fine and elegant features and concentration of polyphenols is always very important. The manually harvested grapes are taken to the cellar and put to dry for 24 hours before crushing the grape. They are conveyed in the steel vats for the alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature and for about 15 days takes place the fermentation process with pumping and delastage to increase the extraction from the skins to the must. Then the wine is separated from the skins and placed in oak barrels for aging, 26 months in which also carries the spontaneous malolactic fermentation, after the assembly of the steel wine matures for 2 months and 6 months in bottle after bottling before marketing.
