La Contadina is a company that was founded in Grazzanise in 1950, initially it was only a buffalo breeding. In the following years La Contadina became a cheese factory, so the production of DOP buffalo mozzarella was started and  products were sold on local markets. Years after years the production increased following the growth of the demand. In 2001 the Coop dairy. La Contadina grows and develops its market also abroad, becoming one of the most important Italian dairies working buffalo milk.


The Camarin ham factories started producing one of the most famous hams in the year 2000 the San Daniele. Camarin today produces about 1000 thighs a year, is considered one of the most qualitative and appreciated San Daniele hams. The thighs are selected directly in the slaughterhouses, only the best will produce the Prosciutto San Daniele. The Camarin uses only sea salt from Trapani to salt their hams. A long seasoning and art in processing will ensure that the ham can reach a high degree of sweetness and softness
