Giuseppe Serra and his son founded the Salumificio Mena in the town of Nicastro, in the region of Calabria. Initially it was one of the first small companies where traditional Calabrian cured meat was produced with techniques passed down from one generation to another. Today the family's sons Fernando, Vincenzo, Sergio and Oscar are carrying on their dad and grandad's work. Great attention is given to the selection of the meat, the mixture of natural aromas together with pepper preserve and also to the slow curing technique, and these features all combine to make these products stand out for their incredibly high quality.
Super Pan is a pastry and bakery shop located in the heart of Brianza. Gabriele, the owner, has always been producing the traditional pastries of Italy with passion and precision, from the inimitable Panettone from Milan to the Easter Colomba and Pan Tranvai, a traditional bread from Brianza with raisins. His bread, made with first-quality flour and long and natural rising, is excellent, light and very tasty. Gabriele uses only carefully selected ingredients and produces with great passion, hard work and by exclusively following the original recipes, without any revisiting. He participated in the Expo Milano fair where tastings of his products were a great success among Italians and foreigner people alike.
