Caccia al Piano Bolgheri Ruit Hora Bolgheri DOC

Caccia al Piano Bolgheri Ruit Hora is a Bolgheri DOC wine produced by the Caccia al Piano winery in Bolgheri. The vineyards extend over 3 estates with different terroirs that together express the best potential of the Bolgheri territory. Caccia al Piano Bolgheri Ruit Hora is produced with the classic international grapes grown in Bolgheri and then 65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot and 5% Syrah. The grapes are hand-harvested to perfect phenolic ripening degree and taken to the winery for processing that follows different routes depending on the variety, in fact the duration of the fermentation varies from year to year and from grape variety to grape variety depending on the characteristics of the vintage. After fermentation, the wines that make up the Caccia al Piano Bolgheri Ruit Hora are separated from the skins and aged in second or third passage barriques for two or three years depending on the characteristics before final blend and then is bottled.
