Peter Zemmer Chardonnay Riserva Crivelli is a wine produced with Chardonnay grapes selected in the Crivelli area by Peter Zemmer. These Chardonnay grapes are suitable for a slightly over-ripe to give a reserve wine from great aging potential. After the manual harvesting these Chardonnay grapes are crushed and destemmed before pressing. Once in the press takes a short maceration in order to extract the precious aromas that have developed in the skin of this wonderful Chardonnay. After pressing, the musts are allowed to naturally decant with the help of cold and fermented in French oak barriques. The aging of Peter Zemmer Chardonnay Riserva Crivelli takes place for 12 months in barriques before blending, bottling and being released on the market.

| Terroir | Lo Chardonnay Peter Zeller proviene da vigneti nella pianura vicino al comune di Cortina sulla strada del vino i suoli sono tedenzialmente poveri e leggeri composti da detriti calcarei e dolomitici che vengono bagnati dai torrenti alpini durante l'estate preservando le piante dallo stress idrico. Questo aspetto unito all'effetto dell'Ora del Garda che spira dal pomeriggio al tramonto dal lago verso Merano e Bressanone assicura un clima asciutto che consente alle uve di raggiungere uno sttao di maturazione ottimale e delinea un terroir unico. I vigneti sono coltivati a controspalliera e la metodologia di potatura è il guyot semplice. |
