Alastro is a flower that surrounds the Sambuca estate lending its name to the wine. Alastro wine is a blend of the aromatic Grillo, Sauvignon Blanc and Grecanico grapes. Alastro has delicate melon and peach aromas on the nose; on the mouth it is characterized by a good acidity which makes this wine well-balanced and easy to drink. The vinification of the wine takes place in steel tanks, and after being refined by extended lees for 6 months, Alastro can be bottled.
