Barbera d'Alba Costa Bruna Poderi Colla is a wine produced with 100% Barbera grapes grown in the vineyard Costa Bruna in the town of Barbaresco in Piedmont. This vineyard has special features as well as an interesting west exposure and an altitude of about 250 m is made up of plants that have been planted around 1930 so older plants with well-developed root systems can give very intense and ripe grapes so Barbera wine very fine and interesting. The Barbera grapes are harvested around the end of the month of September and taken to the cellar for vinification, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with different duration and temperature depending on the vintage conditions. Subsequently, the Barbera d'Alba Costa Bruna Poderi Colla is separated from the skins and placed in oak barrels for 12 months before blending and bottling.
