Caciocavallo with Chili is produced in the province of Potenza by the company Pace e Becce. The base of this cheese is the podolica caciocavallo, milk used in fact derives from cattle farms typical of the region Basilicata and Puglia. In this version the caciocavallo is enriched with chili pepper, which makes it tasty and delicious. Caciocavallo with Chili has a cylindrical shape, white tending to yellow straw, with pieces of spicy chili inside. The seasoning of the Caciocavallo with Chili is to be considered long, in fact the cheese has a hard paste with occasional holes.
