Peter Zeller Chardonnay is a wine whose balance is characterized by a pleasant aromaticity and a freshness of flavours. The hand-harvested grapes are put in their own juice to macerate in a cold and oxygen-free environment in order to allow the aromatic characteristics in the grape's skin to be transfered in the musts before fermentation takes place. After pressing, the musts are clarified through the natural settling of sediments. The clarified part is inoculated with selected yeasts and then fermentation takes place at 19°C in steel tanks. The short refinement by extended lees continues in steel tanks for a few months before bottling

Terroir Lo Chardonnay Peter Zeller proviene da vigneti nella pianura vicino al comune di Cortina sulla strada del vino i suoli sono tedenzialmente poveri e leggeri composti da detriti calcarei e dolomitici che vengono bagnati dai torrenti alpini durante l'estate preservando le piante dallo stress idrico. Questo aspetto unito all'effetto dell'Ora del Garda che spira dal pomeriggio al tramonto dal lago verso Merano e Bressanone assicura un clima asciutto che consente alle uve di raggiungere uno sttao di maturazione ottimale e delinea un terroir unico. I vigneti sono coltivati a controspalliera e la metodologia di potatura è il guyot semplice.
