Colterenzio Gewurztraminer Alto Adige DOC

Colterenzio Gewurztraminer Alto Adige DOC is a wine produced with one of the most famous vines of Trentino Alto Adige: the Gewurztraminer. The vineyards are located on the slopes of the Adige valley at an altitude between 400 and 450 m above sea level and in this way the grapes are able to benefit from temperature ranges even quite important during the period of maturation, this heavily influences the aromatic complement of Gewurztraminer grapes that make up the wine Colterenzio Gewurztraminer Alto Adige DOC. When the manual harvest takes place, the grapes are subjected to a short cold maceration in order to extract the aromatic compounds found in the skins and allow the dispersion in the must, fermentation takes place in stainless steel at 18 ° C for about a week. The Colterenzio Gewurztraminer Alto Adige DOC remains on the yeasts in aging in steel until the spring following the harvest until bottling.
