Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Gianni Masciarelli

Masciarelli Gianni Montepulciano wine is 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes from the renowned Masciarelli winery in Abruzzo. .These Montepulciano grapes come from the most suitable properties and vineyards are hand harvested from late September and throughout the month of October and taken to the cellar for destemming and fermentation. This process lasts for about 18 days and the maceration of the Montepulciano grape skins with the must allow the transfer of aromatics, color and texture compounds to Masciarelli Montepulciano wine. After fermentation the Masciarelli Montepulciano is separated from the skins and aged for 20 months in stainless steel before blending and bottling.
