Grappa Zu Plun Muscat Fine Old is a distillate of Moscato marcs that come from the wine stretcher in Trentino Alto Adige. Three different types of Moscato grapes are used for the production of Grappa Zu Plun Muscat Fine Old which are Moscato Giallo, Moscato Rosa and Moscato Dorato. The distillation process is discontinuous with double distillation, in a bain-marie in copper cauldrons. Subsequently Grappa Zu Plun Muscat Fine Old is aged for 3 years in oak barrels that come from France, Austria and Spain, but the finest are the French ones as the Sauternes sweet wine is stored in these barrels.
