Franz Haas is the owner of this winery from Trentino and named his company after himself. Franz Haas is a well-known name in the Italian wine scene thanks to his ability in interpreting the land and making exceptional uncommon wines. Franz Haas winery was founded in 1880 and today it has 51 hectares of vines combining owned and rented lands and produces around 300.000 bottles per year. His winemaking technique is unmistakable: Franz Haas, back in 1989 was one of the first winemakers to use labels with unusual colours like gold and silver, which were engraved in everyone's mind and were hard to forget. His winemaking philosophy is based on the concept of integrated management, that means using synthetic products only when external conditions make their usage completely necessary.
