Riccardo Ceretto was born in Santo Stefano Belbo at the beginning of '900 and began producing wine for his family consumption. Years later he became business partner of an important wine producer of the area starting to produce wine with Ceretto name around 1930. The sons Marcello and Bruno carry on the tradition with a different and innovative philosophy at the time: the concept of the cru. The Barolo brothers as they are called starts an investiment process in which they purchased many vineyards in the most prestigious areas of Piedmont to produce wines more and more unique and unrepeatable.
