One Thousand and One Nights Donnafugata Online Sale
Mille e una Notte is a very complex and structured wine, it comes from the blending of different wines from the best vineyards of the Contessa Entellina estate. The grapes are harvested at different times following the degree of ripeness of the different varieties, at the beginning of September starting with Nero d'Avola and Syrah and finishing with Petit Verdot at the end of the month. Vinification takes place in steel with a maceration of about 14 days at a temperature of not less than 28°C to extract the compounds responsible for color, structure and aromas from the skins. Then Thousand and One Nights is placed in French oak barrel aging for 14 months and then after blending and bottling for 36 months in bottle before release.
