Pio Cesare Barolo DOCG

Barolo Pio Cesare is a blend of the best wines from Barolo Pio Cesare owned cru: Ornate in Serralunga d'Alba, Gustava in Grinzane Cavour, Roncaglie in La Morra and Ravera in Barolo. Nebbiolo gets ripe in different conditions in these cru and thus the wine has some diversity. Pio Cesare Barolo is the blend of these cru with the aim to create a complete wine exploiting the different characteristics of the different Pio Cesare cru. Nebbiolo is manually harvested and taken to the cellar for about 20 days of fermentation and maceration at a temperature of 28 ° C. Barolo Pio Cesare is separated from the skins and placed in wooden barrels and casks for 3 years of aeging to which they follow two in steel after blrnding. After 5 years from harvesting Barolo Pio Cesare is bottled and released on the market.
