Umbria is a region of an untouched territory where the tourist can enjoy the quiteness of the landscape and the many traditional Umbrian products. Extremely fine are the extra virgin olive oil and the cured meat, the latter produced in Norcia (during the Roman empire its inhabitants, called norcini, were already masters of butchering and working the meat). Another product, exported worldwide, is winter and summer truffle, used to enrich the flavour of the traditional Umbrian dishes. On the wine side, the rediscovery of the local grape Sagrantino has been of great importance and it changed the Umbrian wine scene. Those producers who believed in this wine from this peculiar grapes and reinterpreted it succeeded in obtaining results never seen before in the region. It is the only region of central and southern Italy that is not connected to the sea. The geographic predominance is the never-ending succession of valleys, mountain chains and uplands.

Golose Tentazioni was founded in 2004 by Walter Borrelli; his main purpose has always been promoting the excellence of the Italian brittle (Croccante), the hand-made brittle. The Croccante is an historic simple Italian sweet that leverages only on its natural ingredients. Golose Tentazioni produces brittles of all kind; from the one with peanuts to the almond or hazelnut one...it also produces gourmet brittles with pistachios, pine nuts, walnuts, with or without sugar. Golose Tentazioni relies on important and basic principles: passion, experience of skilled pastry chefs and the continous research of the best ingredients. The peanuts used are first-quality, crunchy and rich in flavour, they are imported from Chile. The hazelnuts are a made-in-Italy product, more precisely from Puglia, Sicily and other areas such as hazelnuts from Langhe, pine nuts from Pisa and pistachios from Sicily. What else can we say? They are artists in the production of Croccante! Only the right amount of sugar is used, in order not to cover the taste of the dried fruit, the brittles are not too crunchy and incredibly pleasant on the mouth.
