There are also important cheeses like the Asiago produced in the Asiago tableland near Vicenza, or the Piave cheese from the Alps near Belluno. These cheeses are also the main ingredients for traditional Veneto dishes. Regarding cured meat it is impossible not to mention the Prosciutto Veneto Berico Euganeo Dop produced in the towns of Padova, Vicenza and Verona. On the east side of the Garda Lake incredible extra vergin olive oil is also produced. Veneto is the Italian region with the highest percentage of flat land and the Po riverflows across this land, and then into the Adriatic. Veneto is bordered by the Alps on the north.

Tommasi is a winery founded in 1902 in the historic area of Valpolicella, more precisely in the municipality of Pedemonte. Over the years, the Tommasi family has been able to increase production and invest in other wine areas outside Valpolicella exporting their know-how elsewhere interpreting other areas and producing some excellent wines from Tuscany and Puglia. Today the company Tommasi has ownership of several estates in Italy: Tommasi and Tenuta Filodora in Veneto; Tenuta Caseo Oltrepò Pavese, in Lombardy; Casisano Montalcino and Poggio al Tufo in Tuscany; Masseria Surani in Manduria in Puglia.
