The nougat soft IGP hazelnuts from Piedmont Barbero is produced with hazelnuts choices one by one manually. Soft nougat produced only with raw materials such as egg whites, millefiori honey and hazelnuts. The nougat is cooked in steam boilers for seven hours, then molded, left to dry and cool on marble tables and then cut by hand. For the realization of this hazelnut nougat it is still used an old recipe dating back to 1883 held the Barbero family. Great nougat to be tasted in purity, hazelnut greatly enriches the quality of this nougat.

How it's made For the production of hazelnut nougat, only 3 ingredients such as white sugar, sugar and hazelnuts are used. For the dough, sugar is made liquid, then the egg album previously added is added. Once the dough is added the dried fruit and the nougat is left to cool before being sold and tasted, the noodle cut is done by hand.
Storage store in a cool and dry place, it is possible to store the nozzle for a long time by placing it in a freezer.
