Vermentino di Sardegna DOC La Cala Reale Sella & Mosca

Vermentino di Sardegna DOC La Cala Sella & Mosca is a wine produced by the famous Sardinian Sella & Mosca with the most representative white grape variety of Sardinia: the Vermentino. A vine of Spanish origin that along the Tyrrhenian coast and in Sardinia has found its ideal location and the right environment. The grapes are harvested and brought to the winery after a rigorous selection, after which there is a cryomaceration which means a period of contact at low temperature between must and skins to facilitate the extraction of the aromatic compounds present in the skins. Subsequently the must is clarified and fermented in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature for about 15 days until the sugar is depleted. The Vermentino di Sardegna DOC La Cala Sella & Mosca remains in steel tanks until the spring following the harvest until bottling.
