White Verona asparagus 500g

White Verona asparagus is a vegetable found from March to May. White Verona asparagus is typical of the Veneto region and has this colouring because it is grown at a great depth and therefore does not allow it to catch light. Excellent eaten cooked or raw, the white Verona asparagus is sweet and has an intense flavour. Its particular aroma is due to the presence of aspartite acid which is only present in the shoots, especially those of the white asparagus.
