Bianca di Valguarnera Duca di Salaparuta is a white wine with great personality, produced in Sicily, that stands out for its unique sensory characteristics. Visually, Bianca di Valguarnera has an intense straw yellow color, with golden reflections that enhance its brilliance. Its clarity is perfect, and the texture can be observed through a slight density that manifests itself in the glass. The olfactory profile of this wine is very complex and rich. On the nose, notes of ripe white fruit, such as pear and apple, are immediately apparent, blending with hints of white flowers, such as jasmine and chamomile. Next, more complex and intriguing notes of honey, vanilla and a slight toastiness emerge, due to the aging in wood, giving the wine a unique character. On the palate, Bianca di Valguarnera Duca di Salaparuta reveals itself to be a wine of great structure and persistence. The entry is soft, enveloping, followed by a freshness that perfectly balances the alcohol component. The flavors faithfully reflect the olfactory sensations, with a return of white fruit and toasted notes. The finish is long and persistent, with an aftertaste reminiscent of vanilla and honey. In summary, Bianca di Valguarnera Duca di Salaparuta is a white wine of great complexity and richness, which best expresses the Sicilian terroir from which it comes.

Bianca di Valguarnera Duca di Salaparuta price and deals online

Bianca di Valguarnera Duca di Salaparuta is a prestigious white wine produced in Sicily, specifically in the area of Valguarnera, in the heart of the province of Palermo. This wine is an excellent example of how the Sicilian territory, with its Mediterranean climate, its mineral rich soils and its long viticultural tradition, can produce high quality wines. Bianca di Valguarnera is made exclusively from Insolia grapes, an indigenous Sicilian grape variety highly valued for its ability to produce white wines of great structure and complexity. The vineyards from which these grapes come are located at an altitude of about 400-600 meters above sea level, in a clay and limestone soil, ideal for the cultivation of this grape variety. The production process of Bianca di Valguarnera begins with the harvest, which generally takes place in September. The grapes are harvested by hand and then brought to the winery, where they are gently pressed. The resulting must is then fermented in French oak barrels, where it remains for about 6 months. During this period, the wine acquires complexity and structure, thanks in part to the action of the yeasts. After fermentation, the wine is aged in bottles for at least 6 months before being put on the market. This aging period allows the wine to round out and develop its characteristic aromas. The Bianca di Valguarnera Duca di Salaparuta is a white wine of great structure and complexity, with notes of ripe white fruit, white flowers and hints of vanilla and toastiness due to aging in barriques. In the mouth it is full, soft and persistent, with a nice freshness that makes it very balanced. This wine pairs perfectly with fish dishes, shellfish and aged cheeses. It is also an excellent meditation wine, to be enjoyed slowly to appreciate all its nuances.
