Venica is one of the most famous companies in the Italian wine field. It is located in Dolegna del Collio in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. It is owned by Gianni, Giorgio and Giampaolo Venica who guide both the technical and managing aspects of the company. Venica was founded in 1930 when Daniele, Giampaolo's grandad, bought an estate made up of a colonial house and the sorrounding vineyards. Thanks to his great passion, his deep love for the area and his remarkable competence, Venica now owns 37 hectares of vines situated on the surrounding hills and produces 275.000 bottles per year. Today it is regarded as a high-standing wine in the Italian and the world wine scene.
