Zenato winery was founded in 1960 when Sergio Zenato began to experiment with new vinification techniques believing in the great potential of the native grapes like the Turbiana. This was a decision that rewarded him well over the years. Company's vineyards are located in S. Cristina, San Benedetto di Lugana and in the Valpolicella areas where Costalunga estate stands and the Zenato Amarone is produced. Today the company is lead by the Zenato family, producing a total of 2,500,000 bottles, owns 75 hectares of vineyards and works the grapes of many wine-growers.
