The territory of Lombardy is characterized by prominent mountain chains and the Po valley interspersed with morenic hills created by the melting of ice at the end of the last glacial era. Lombardy is considered the region with the most productive industrial activity in Italy, but it is also a territory extremely rich in food and wine excellences. Lombardy has an important agricultural tradition that spreads from the Alps to the last southern parts of the Po valley, just before the Apennines.


Agricola Monte Alto is a project born in 2013, a project that is now a beautifull reality with great prospect. Alberto Tribbia and David Conter are two professionals in the wine world who decided to take a challenge to give a deeper meaning to their professional life. For a year they spent their evenings after their daily work to the renovation of an old barn in a beautiful farmhouse in Clusane Iseo surrounded by vineyards in a fantastic land that would later become their wonderful winery. They take care of everything, even the installation of electrical, hydraulic and cooling of fermentation tanks, at the beginning of 2014, when the works were completed, Società Agricola Monte Alto was founded. Today the winery produces 20,000 bottles: Franciacorta DOCG, DOC Curtefranca white and red and IGP Sebino. Alberto and David are proof that even today, even in Italy, when you have a dream it can become reality.
